Hi there!  So glad you are here!  My name is Michelle.  I have always had a love for making a house a home, decorating, and for burning scented candles.  One day I was exploring alternatives to the candles that were already on the market, in search of something non-toxic and cleaner, and I stumbled upon soy wax candles.  I poured my very first soy candle in my kitchen, and I was hooked! The freedom to try different scents and styles was right up my alley.  So Porch Swing Candle Co. was born. 

   The idea behind Porch Swing is to provide a sense of calm and comfort, just like sitting on your front porch swing. I grew up just outside of a small town on Lake Huron in Ontario.  I moved to Waterloo to study at WLU, and from there met my husband and started our family. I am a mom, a huge baseball lover, a country music fan, a lover of documentaries and learning, a quiet soul, and an eternal home decorator!  I hope you enjoy my work and products as much as I love creating them.
